Last fall, I attended the anti-corruption(?)/anti-lots-of-things rally “Occupy Wall Street.” While I found the attendees of the event engaging in their arguments, their shouts overshadowed many of the homeless resident to the park. I spoke to a few of them: many of them really didn’t care about the protests at all.
I imagine that for people without homes, the discussion of wealth is pretty irrelevant.
